It's Not a "Good Life"
Donald Trump inhabits a popular Twilight Zone scenario because people let him.

Watching President Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa and his entourage squirm in their seats while sucking up to Donald Trump was the most painful thing I’ve witnessed on CSPAN since, well, the last time I saw a world leader suck up to Donald Trump on CSPAN. Which now is pretty much a common occurrence. Everywhere. With everyone.

Imagine suffering every racist and garbagey and baseless ill-informed stream of non-consciousness gibberish insult you can comprehend and further demeaning yourself by pleading for help and understanding from the likes of Donald Trump, a barely bipedal, shit-reeking gout specimen of a 78 year-old idiot man-boy with grease-stained neural pathways. And those are his good points.

No one will ever get the relief they seek from Trump and his Medieval circus of dumbevil clowns. So what’s the point of even trying? Are they all really as feckless and useless as Chuck Schumer and the Democratic party? Don’t they realize every entreaty will be met with another insult followed by another demeaning “deal offer” followed by more insults and baseless accusations and more outrageous demands?

Why is the rest of the world tolerating this? Why can’t a coalition of nations pool their resources and power to isolate the United States and finally treat it like the lawless rogue nation it is and has been for most of its existence? If not, we’ll have to witness the repeated and horrifying real-life reenactments of The Twilight Zone’s “It’s a Good Life” every time some foreign leader visits the Oval Office Twilight Zone.

Hey Jim, what you want is the unified countries gathering together to coordinate a dumping of US treasuries in order to end the US economy. Economic war is the only means by which the world has any way of fighting back against the United States legitimately. But they also have to be willing to accept the sheer amount of pain that's going to come from killing the US economy because it's effectively the world economy.
I’ve been rewatching all the Twilight Zones and just watched that one. There are three or four lines the child says in the episode that are actual words Our Beloved Leader has whined. Many TW’s speak directly to us today.
