So we can be pretty sure that his replacement will be a totally useless corporate-war-mongering puppet of the Democratic Party. In the future, for progressives, the only likely political way to prevent either true or false or somewhere-in-between accusations of sexual misconduct is to nominate revolutionary-socialist women for political office. I therefore nominate Kshama Sawant, who is currently running for congress in Washington. If I'm correct that you don't have to be a citizen of Maine to run for U.S. Senate for that state, she would be a perfect candidate and based on her history would probably kick Susan Collin's ass, causing the senator to be "very concerned."

It’s funny how only progressives can be convicted without a court, huh?

On account of sexual assault being on brand for conservatives…yeah I know. Sometimes the things in my head should just stay there. Usually, actually.

"NEW: Politico knew at the time of publication precisely what Jenny Racicot texted to Graham Platner but deliberately omitted it from their article. Racicot, according to the lead Politico reporter on the story, told Platner she “needed her glute massaged.” He told her he was coming right over; she responded by telling him not to do so, but he came over quickly.

Whether this detail is important to you or not, it is a shocking breach of journalistic ethics by Politico and CNN not to include it in their coverage. Story at Drop Site to follow."

What's that line about getting into the bathtub long after the water's been drained?
